The IRMSA ‘Game of Risk’ risk conference which was held at Gallagher Estate on 18th and 19th September 2014 was very well attended with a line-up of impressive speakers. Speakers included the likes of Christoph Leuzinger , Executive Head of Global Corporate (Zurich); Nicky Weimar, Senior Economist (Nedbank) and Les Carlo, General Manager of Risk and Resilience (Eskom) who kept the audience enlightened and entertained.
BarnOwl is proud to have been one of the key sponsors of the event and were thrilled to have won the best stand award as voted by the delegates, not just from a stand perspective but from an energy and interaction perspective. We were also delighted to give some of our support staff a chance to ‘man the stand’ and to interact with our clients. Both clients and staff alike enjoyed putting a ‘face to a name’. Our wire barn owls were also a big hit, with everyone wanting to take one home as a souvenir. BarnOwl sponsors ‘Seeds of Africa’, a social responsibility initiative who make hundreds of barn owls for us.
